SK401 series collector integrates the all-glass evacuated tubes, HEAT PIPE tubes, aluminium fin and the frame, the collector is separate from the storage tank, the volumtric capacity of the strorage tank should be in conformity with the pieces of collector to heat up the water effectively.

Operational principle

The selective coating in the inner cover of the evacuated tubes ensures high energy absorption and low heat radiance losses, which convert solar energy into heat energy and transfer to HEAT PIPE tube by aluminum fin. The liquid (water or anti-freezing liquid) in the metal tube has been heated up, and conduct the heat energy to the water inside the storage tank through plate exchanger or internal spiral coils. The controlling system can also the condition of heat exchanging between collector loop and the water in the storage tank.
The evacuated tubular collector with HEAT PIPE tubes can be quasi-tracking in four seasons, the collector will be in operation as long as sun shines. SK401 series collector can be in service all year round even in cold climate areas in combination with the fossil fuel or electricity.
